¿WHAT IS THE RESIDENT’S DISCOUNT? In our case, it is a discount applicable to rates of passengers’ maritime transport between the Islands of the Balearic Archipelago, and between the later and the Peninsula.
¿WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM THIS DISCOUNT? Spaniard citizens with residence in the Balearic Islands
Citizens from States members of the European Union with residence in the Balearic Islands.
¿WHAT PAPERS ARE TO BE PRODUCED IN ORDER TO BENEFIT FROM THIS DISCOUNT? If you are aSpaniard citizenyou shall present a PHOTOCOPY OF YOUR NATIONAL IDENTITY CARD making it clear that your regular residence is in the Balearic Islands.
If your residence cannot be proved by means of your National Identity Card, you shall have to present a CERTIFICATE OF RESIDENCE IN ORDER TO TRAVEL, issued by the Town-hall of the city where you regularly reside in the Balearic Archipelago.
If you are a citizen of a State member of the European Union you shall have to present a PHOTOCOPY OF YOUR RESIDENCE PERMIT which shall state as regular residence a municipality of the Balearic Islands.
Otherwise, you shall have to present a CERTIFICATE OF RESIDENCE IN ORDER TO TRAVEL, issued by the Town-hall of the city where you regularly reside in the Balearic Archipelago.
In any case, any documentation presented shall be kept by the Company.
¿WHEN DOES THE DOCUMENTATION HAVE TO BE PRESENTED? It is compulsory to present said documentation when purchasing your ticket, the law forbidding presentation later on (REAL DECRETO 1316 / 2001, published in the State Official Journal (B.O.E.) nº 300, of 15th December).
